Children's House Programs

The Children’s House program is the cornerstone of our 35-year tradition, and the first type of program developed by Maria Montessori. We welcome children from ages 2 years 3 months through 6 years and have three beautiful Casas (classrooms) taught by caring, capable teachers:

  • Casa I is led by Maria Libra and offers full-day and half-day options. Maria also speaks Spanish to help ease the transition for a bilingual child.
  • Casa II is led by Taryn Bender and also offers full-day and half-day options.
  • Casa III is led by Courtney Semke and provides working families with full-day and extended day options.

Although children coming from a different kind of program quickly integrate into the classroom environment, we strongly recommend that children attend Children’s House for all three years – two preschool years, plus kindergarten – because the three year cycle is so vital to a child’s natural learning process.
