PARENT’S NIGHT OUT
The last Parent’s Night Out event of the year will be on Friday, May 18th, from 6-10 pm! Drop off your children and enjoy an evening out while they enjoy dinner, fun and games with the middle school students. The cost is $20 for the first child, $15 for the second, $10 for the third, $5 for the fourth, and the fifth is free! ILLNESS ALERT
We have a confirmed case of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in our school. Symptoms include a runny nose, low-grade fever, sore throat and blister like rash. The rash appears inside the mouth, on the palms and fingers of the hands and/or on the bottom of the feet. Children must be free of a fever for 24 hours prior to returning to school and feeling well enough to participate in normal activity. Sores and rash may still be present.
There have been several cases of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) at World Learner School. A case has not been reported at Jonathan Montessori, but we wanted to make parents aware of this situation as it is in the building. FAMILY PICNIC
The end of the year family picnic will be held on Friday June 1. It is a great way to end the year by sharing a pot luck meal and some outdoor fun all together. Our picnic will be at Lion’s Park in Chaska from 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. Please put the date on your calendar! We have created a sign-up online for items to bring to the potluck. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL
Things to remember for the last day of school, June 7th:
- Students arrive at school at their usual time.
- No P.M busing on the last day of school as all children must depart at noon.
- All students attend the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at 10:30am, St. Andrew Church
- The kindergarten graduation is for Jonathan Montessori students and family members of the Kindergarten graduates. (it will be a surprise when it is your family’s turn!)
- School ends for all students at 12:00pm
SCHOOL YEARBOOKS:
Order forms for the Yearbooks are coming home in the Thursday folders. The cost of the yearbook is $17.00. The year books will be beautiful this year so you won’t want to miss ordering one. Please return the order form to the office by Friday, May 25.
