Volunteer Information

Fundraising Committee
Determines the fundraising goals and coordinates the events for the school following the mission set by the Board of Directors. In addition, this committee communicates to all the JMS families and solicits volunteers for the events.

Gardening Committee
Responsible for the creation of garden projects to beautify the property. Clean-up and trimming work may also be included.

Maintenance Committee
Work with The World Learner School Committee to be sure small items are maintained such as the changing of high light bulbs; replacing furnace filters; inspecting the playground equipment and making necessary repairs; hanging items on the walls; and other related tasks.

School Development Committee
Maintains and develops the school website and yearbook. Responsible for providing library volunteers. Grant writing for the school will also be handled by this committee.

Social Events Committee
Responsible to bring families and/or parents together to nurture the spirit of the JMS community. New parent liaison, picnics, family days, etc. are planned by this committee.
