A Montessori classroom is filled with “works” – activities designed to teach multiple concepts at once. Every work has its own design, rhythm, and home in the classroom. They are displayed in unique, attractive, natural containers that are especially engaging to a child and add to the beauty and warmth of the classroom.
“Work” is the backbone of the Montessori method, providing children with hands-on, concrete ways to approach math, language, science, practical life skills, and more. Montessori children are extremely proud of their work, and this pride sows the seeds of a lifelong love of learning.
Feel free to contact us with questions – the children are very proud of their work, and we love to explain how these works…work! Very soon, we will post lovely pictures to give you some idea of the amazing activities every Montessori child gets to enjoy.
