Jonathan Montessori

We encourage prospective parents and students to visit the classrooms. Call (952) 448-5232 or contact us to schedule a time to stop by.

Dear Parents

Jonathan Montessori - Schedule a VisitThe best way to choose a program is to observe classes while the children are in session.  We invite you to do so and would love for you to bring your child if they are age appropriate.  We hope you will not feel any type of obligation and will understand that a part of our work as teachers and administrators is just helping people make good decisions in finding the right classroom for our children.  However, while working with parents, it is imperative that enough knowledge be acquired about any program in order to make the best decision that will work for the entire family.  We fully support parents in this difficult task of finding the best program to suit your child’s individual learning style.

The most important aspect of your visit to Jonathan Montessori School is to help your child feel comfortable.  Sometimes that can take a bit of time, and other times children will be very comfortable and will accept an invitation from a child to enter the classroom and participate in some fun learning activities.  If your child is shy and doesn’t want to go into the classroom, that’s OK.  Please remember this is about helping them have a lovely first impression of us, and of course we want to help you learn about our program as well.  There is no expectation for your child at this visit, except to have fun and feel they are among friends.

In order for you to gather the necessary information and to not rush your child, please allow about 1 hour for your visit when you call the office at (952)-448-5232 to schedule an appointment.   As the school director I have the pleasure of meeting with each family individually. There will be ample time to learn about the Montessori Philosophy and learning materials, meet a few staff members and gain answers to any questions about our policies and procedures you may have.

We look forward to sharing our excitement with you about Jonathan Montessori.  Beginning my 28th year at Jonathan Montessori School I can honestly say I am just as enthusiastic about this way of life as I was as a brand new teacher.

I hope to meet with your family in the near future!

Sincerely,
Randi Shapiro
Director
